If you submit the claim after the time frame allowed by insurance then the claim submission is considered as passed timely filing.
Importantly, As per the payor protocol insurance only covers and processes the claim that was submitted within the time frame.

The claims data of service is 01/01/2021.
Can you guess? what is the last date to submit the claim?
Answer
The last date to submit the claim is 06/30/2021. Post this date whatever may be the claim it will definitely deny as passed timely filing or The time limit for filing has expired.

You have submitted a claim on 02/02/2021(Within a time frame). Post which claims were denied for some coding-related issue and claim was corrected and resubmitted with correction after the Timely filing limit.
In this case, insurance will deny the claim as passed timely filing. But, here is the important thing that should be noticed.
The initial claim was submitted within the time frame on 02/02/2021 so this is the proof that says the claim was initially submitted within the time frame.
